Board of Directors: Rosa M. Tumialán

Rosa M. Tumialán is a member of Dykema’s General Litigation Practice Group in which she focuses on insurance coverage disputes involving both personal and commercial lines.  Rosa has also handled a number of matters for the firm’s Consumer Financial Services practice, defending financial service entities against both individual and class action suits including various consumer lending disputes.  Rosa serves as a member of the Board of the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois and was recently elected to the Board of the Illinois Hispanic Lawyers Association of Illinois.  Resident in Chicago, Rosa is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia (B.A. 1990) and Loyola University of Chicago School of Law (J.D. 1994).  Rosa is admitted to the bar in Illinois.  She is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals.  Rosa was named one of Chicago’s 40 Lawyers Under 40 Lawyers to Watch in 2008.
